Master's in Physiotherapy and a Diploma in Counselling. Brings a holistic approach to musculoskeletal care, with a focus on the whole person rather than the presenting symptom.
Advanced training in men's and women's health physiotherapy. Returned to Redcliffe Physio in 2009 to lead this area of practice.
Twenty-five years' experience, with advanced training in vestibular and TMJ physiotherapy — two areas under-served by most peninsula clinics.
The newest addition to the team. Patient-first approach and quick to build rapport — especially with younger patients and first-time physio attendees.
Redcliffe Physiotherapy opened in 1998. Before that, Denis spent his early career as the head physiotherapist for the Canterbury Bankstown Rugby League Football Club — a role most physios would consider a peak.
He moved to Queensland with a different plan: to build a community practice. Not a sports-clinic. Not a multi-location chain. A single building on John Street where the same team would treat the same families across generations.
Most of our patients have been coming here for more than ten years. Some are the third generation of their family to walk through the door.
Twenty-eight years later, that's still the model. New patients welcome — we just won't pretend to be new.
Initial appointments are forty-five minutes. History, examination, and a written plan you take home.
You're paired with the practitioner most suited to what's going on — and you stay with them through the plan.
Some patients see us once. Others build in quarterly tune-ups. Either is welcome — and both are common.
